What does this copyright and takedown policy cover?
This policy covers claims of copyright infringement relating to text, images, videos, audio, infographics, and any other content published on sachindex.de. How do I submit a valid takedown request?
To submit a takedown request for alleged copyright infringement, please email copyright@sachindex.de with a detailed description of the work claimed to be infringed, its exact location on our site (including the full URL), your contact information, and a statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
Your request must be signed (electronic signature is acceptable) and include a declaration, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf. We respond to all valid notices within five business days and will take appropriate action, which may include removal of the disputed content. How does Sachindex handle image rights and attribution?
We source images from licensed databases (such as Shutterstock and Getty Images), commissioned photographers, public domain archives, and creators who grant us permission. Every image is credited where possible, and we maintain records of licences and permissions.
If you believe an image published on our site infringes your copyright or moral rights, please email copyright@sachindex.de with the image URL, your rights claim, and any supporting documentation. We will investigate promptly and, if the claim is valid, remove the image or add proper attribution within three business days. What about videos, embedded media and other content?
Videos, podcasts, and embedded media on sachindex.de are either produced in-house, licensed from third-party providers, or embedded from platforms such as YouTube or SoundCloud under their standard terms. Takedown requests for such content follow the same procedure as text and images.
We will assess each request against applicable copyright exceptions and our editorial guidelines. If we determine that content should be removed, we will do so promptly and, where appropriate, notify the affected party. Our commitments
